Cufflinks Never Change With Men's Fashions,

Back since the seventeenth century, cufflinks have been the style for men wearing sliver cufflinks with French dress shirts. Since then women have come a custom to the fashion enjoying cuff link style.

The first cufflink was made with small chains. A button was placed though the buttonhole in a French shirt cuff. Cufflinks then was held with silver or gold buttons. Up until then cuffs on a shirt was held with ties or ribbons.

Giving the attire a much more suave look for men. Tuxedos and formal suits then became a style with sliver cufflinks to give a look of sophistication to men. Gemstones, designs, fabric and other metals were used to give the look while being worn with French style shirt.

With the latest style of cufflinks, the industry boom with cufflinks being manufactured at a high quantity and lower cost. Men's fashion designers then began designing shirts for formal attire with cufflinks included. Fashion trend for men exploded with men showing of their debonair manner with the new style of cufflink with matching stud sets.

At this time chains to hold buttons in the cuff buttonhole then was replaced with rods and fasteners with clips. With easy closures, men were able to use sliver cufflinks in a modern fashion at that time. Still some were not able to afford new style and still refereed to chain and button for shirts.

As the nineteenth century brought around the variety use of cufflinks, men started to wear shirts needing cufflinks, not only formal wear, however, casual wear also. With affordable cufflinks, the average middle class men were able to own a set.

By the late twentieth century, fashion designers would then start designing shirts with buttons on the cuffs replacing the cuff link style. With this industrial, affect the cufflink style to slow down. As jewelry companies expanded, the need for cuff links were just in style as the beginning of ribbons and string.

Today men's fashion trend has change to white shirt instead of the loud colors and fancy ties. With white shirt and solid tie sliver cufflinks are still in style. Trends change from year to year with the economy bubbling men have went back to the plain business look for now.

No matter what the trend is in men's fashion, sliver cuff links will never go out of style.
